No Pants Subway Ride SF
2011 has kicked off and it didn't take long for the usual eccentricity of San Francisco to fully engage. Behold, the San Francisco No Pants Subway ride, a satellite incarnation of the larger improv everywhere event.
I was impressed that everyone kept in character for the whole event. Notable reactions I overheard - one confused tourist runs back and forth between different No Pants participants asking what is going on. She returns to her companions, hands up in the air and a look of confusion on her face, saying "I guess they just forgot their pants". Another was the look of horror on one well dressed gentleman as he walked out into the plaza, loudly declaring in a long southern drawl "I'm not sure I'm comfortable with all this".
